The eyes of a woman

No eyes but the eyes of a woman in love

can flaunt the passion of sky

and shed tears like an innocent child

at the beauty of love’s honesty.

Picture of a dark haired woman looking over her shoulder

If I had the eyes of a woman in love

I could speak of the power they hold

to see through time, distance, and space,

and know of all things beautiful.

If I had the eyes, if I had the eyes …

oh, if we all had the eyes!
